Earth Modeling System is Expected to Offer Outstanding Climate Simulation Resolutions

Sandia National Laboratories reports on the work of the Energy Exascale Earth Systems Model (E3SM) and how, according to Sandia researcher Mark Taylor, the project’s chief computational scientist, the system E3SM has developed the last four years is expected to offer one of the best resolutions ever achieved by supercomputers simulating aspects of the planet’s climate.
