App Consolidates ECP- and Exascale-related SC19 Sessions, Fosters Community

When SC19 takes place in Denver this year (November 17–22), the Exascale Computing Project (ECP) will again be represented in myriad sessions throughout the 6 days of the conference.

ECP has created an app—called ECP@SC19—for SC19 attendees who are interested in finding and tracking ECP- and exascale-related sessions.

The ECP@SC19 app provides a consolidated overview of the many SC19 sessions with ECP participation, along with other selected exascale-related activities. The purpose of this app is to simplify conference schedule planning, increase the visibility of ECP’s participation at SC19, and facilitate community networking and collaboration. The ECP@SC19 app will be a nice tool for planning the sessions you want to attend at SC19 and networking with like-minded people.

ECP@SC19 is available for iPhone or Android phones. Invitation code “se_uo” is required for sign-up. Live support for the app—and, as appropriate, live announcements—will be provided during the conference.

A website for ECP@SC19 has also been developed that is replete with content similar to what is in the app. The website has an app tips video and download links for the mobile and web versions as well as app help and support information.
