Accelerating New Advances in Wind Power with the Summit Supercomputer

In a press release, General Electric (GE) announces that the US Department of Energy (DOE) has granted GE access to the Summit supercomputer at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility to accelerate the investigation of wind power in support of renewable energy.

The release states that the knowledge acquired will strengthen DOE’s leadership in exascale computing for clean power via collaboration with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. View the press release.
