Patrick (Pat) McCormick is a senior computer scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) with almost 25 years of experience, and is well known and respected for his seminal work in programming models, data visualization, and parallel systems. At LANL, he has served as the Programming Models team leader and as the Program Manager, LANL Office of Science (SPO-SC), Advanced Scientific Computing Research—Computer Science Point-of-Contact. McCormick has authored or coauthored numerous papers and won many industry awards.
