Principal Investigator: Michael Lang, Los Alamos National Laboratory

This project focues on developing runtimes and compiler-based tools that aim to simplify and improve developer productivity and application performance. They also aim to develop connections with various runtime systems as code-generation targets—including simplifying the programming of tasking models, threading and GPU and many-core architectures.   It includes building LLVM-based tools that aim to simplify and improve developer productivity and application performance. The coverage includes both C++ (via Clang) and Fortran (via xFlang). In addition, it will look at connections with various runtime systems as code-generation targets—including simplifying the programming of tasking models, threading and GPU and many-core architectures.
