EXAWIND: Exascale Predictive Wind Plant Flow Physics Modeling

Significant plant-level energy losses by turbine-turbine interactions in complex terrain hamper the wide-scale deployment of wind energy on the power grid. This project is focused on predicting the flow physics that govern whole wind plant performance: wake formation, complex terrain impacts, and the effects of turbine-turbine interaction.
